Concept

An original character exploring the boundary between city and animal life. Soft textures and a minimal palette were chosen to convey both warmth and a quiet loneliness at the same time.

Process

    Drafted 20 silhouette and expression studies as rough sketches

  2. 02

    Sculpted base mesh and forms in ZBrush, then retopologized into clean topology

  3. 03

    Built fabric and skin materials in Substance Painter with PBR fine-tuning

  4. 04

    Composed a 3-point lighting setup in Blender and rendered with Cycles
